Our busy weekend

Hello and happy Sunday! I haven’t shared a what I did on the weekend blog post in so long I’ve actually missed them.

With Lorenzo getting older he’s definitely getting bored easily which means gone are the days of staying home all weekend and just playing with his toys.

Having a toddler is actually becoming so fun because it’s really getting my educational mummy brain thinking of ways to plan day trips that are fun and educational.

First day trip of the weekend was a park day with the hubby and son, we went tour local fish & chips and got hot chips for lunch and drove to the park. Yes I could of made a healthy lunch for the park but this day trip was very random and last minute we decided to go to the park!

Lorenzo loves being outdoors, he’s definitely a messy boy at heart which at first was hard for this clean freak of a mum who hates sand and dirt to get used too.

Our next day trip was our local fruit and veg markets on a Sunday morning, just some mummy and son time and we let daddy sleep in. Lorenzo hasn’t been to the markets since he was a baby baby so for him he loved it! Of course he saw bananas and straight away pointed and yelled “nana” so although we have a dozen of bananas at home this mummy bought some more so he could get straight to eating his favourite fruit.

After the markets this mummy had to go to Kmart! So we drove home and picked up daddy and decided to have a Sunday brunch at a cafe before we hit the shops. Lorenzo enjoyed his veggie mite on toast and mummy enjoyed her eggs benny well daddy had the big breakfast.

For dinners this weekend Lorenzo also tried a new food “rice paper noodles.” He loved it!!! Are the whole dish and I’m so happy because mummy and daddy love rice paper noodles too.

We even went to our local pet shop to buy our dog Zeus his doggie food and they have a whole section of fish tanks with all different varieties of fish. This is Lorenzo’s favourite thing about pet city is all the animals he gets to see, they even have a bird room full of birds. I definitely want to take Lorenzo somewhere animal related as he loves animals! Honestly think he might be a vet when he’s older ” or I just hope he will be.” He’s heart and affection towards animals melts my heart.

I would love some more creative and fun weekend ideas to do with toddlers, if you have any fun family activities please leave a comment down below and I’ll definitely add it to the list.
