My son just like any other child has so many clothes I can’t keep up!?
I used to just have them randomly spread out in his draws until one day I watched that tidying up by Marie kondo on Netflix and ever since have been driving my hubby mad.
I would show you the rest of my house but honestly it looks like a working process still so I definitely will be writing up a blog about how I’ve Marie kondo my house once it’s all done and dusted.
Lorenzo’s room was probably the easiest because he doesn’t have nearly as much stuff as his parents. But yes his clothes draw was looking all types of bad!?
Again I wish I had before photos of his draws but I forgot all about the “blog” until after I began the process.
We actually had so much clothing that was still sitting in his draws that didn’t even fit him anymore which was crazy!? I washed and bagged up all his baby boy clothes and gave them to a friend whose mother is currently opening up her parents old house to be a home for women and children of domestic violence. Which I’m so thankful I’ve been able to help out anyway I can.
Ok so first draw is tops and it goes in order as well, first row right at the back is all his “summer” short sleeves tops & middle is all his long sleeve tops & then it goes into his onesies that he does wear as tops as well or now that it’s getting cooler here in Australia he does wear them as extra under layer. The basket is full of socks, bibs and undershirts and lastly in front of the basket is his pj pile so it’s easy to just grab and get them on him after bath time.
I’ve had a friend ask me how I keep it like this 24/7 and I laughed and said yes there is a method to my madness and only “I” in this house put his clothes away so that’s why it stays like this.
Second draw is pants! And again still in order of course. Middle row is all his “winter” long pants and on the sides short “summer” pants.
In his wardrobe there’s not a lot as I have recently got rid of a lot! But basically it’s full of all his nice shirts & jumpers.
